Possessing one of golf’s smoothest swings, Oosthuizen has won 14 tournaments, the most famous being the 2010 Open Championship at St Andrews, where he became only the fourth South African to lift the Claret Jug, after Bobby Locke, Gary Player and Ernie Els. Oosthuizen has finished runner-up in all four Majors - the 2012 Masters, 2015 and 2021 US Open, 2015 Open Championship and 2017 and 2021 PGA Championship. He captained the all-South African Stinger GC to first place in LIV Golf’s inaugural 2022 event in London, followed by a second place in Portland.
